An Edison Update

Last night, we bought Edison a TV (No, not a real TV. We're not spoiling our little mouse that much!) It's a "Hide 'n' See TV" which is basically a clever little nesting box where Edison can snuggle and create a little nest and we can still see him through the front screen.  It's mouse TV!

This morning, he was snuggled up inside, but when we got up, he was excited and jumped up on top of the TV. Sometimes he pokes his little pink nose through the bars.

So far, no word on Edison's family. We've got the traps out and baited, but nobody's shown up to claim their peanut butter, so we don't know if he was alone or if they're just too shy.

Last night, we told my three year-old niece, Claire, about Edison and how he came to live with us. She asked me to tell her the story of Edison's arrival several times and then said, "I'm Edison," and curled up in my lap.

Today we plan to take more pictures of Edison, if he'll come out of his loft hideaway long enough.

Update to the update: Edison has spent most of the day snuggled up in his loft, where we've put soft blue cotton fluff for him to nest. He's napped away the day, coming downstairs just a few times for a snack. So..I think our photo session will have to wait.
